Happy Friday ONE TECH Booster Club Supporters!

We are so very fortunate to have such a loyal and supportive Eastern Tech community consisting of proud alumni and administrators, past and present. We would like to take this time to send our sincerest appreciation to former Eastern Tech Principal, Robert Kemmery, for a very generous donation to the ONE TECH Athletic Booster Club.

As the Eastern Tech head, former Principal Kemmery was named 'State of Maryland Principal of the Year' in 1999-2000, Baltimore Magazine's 'Baltimorean of the Year' in 2000, received the 'Excellence in Teacher Education Award' from Towson University in April 2001, was the 2002 'McDonald's Outstanding Career and Technical Educator Award' recipient and awarded the 'Outstanding Service Award' for 35 years of service from the Maryland State Department of Education in 2007. We are also very certain, that in addition to these incredible awards, Principal Kemmery left a lasting impression on many of this Eastern Tech students as well.

This amazing donation will be the first investment into the newly created, ONE TECH Field-Fund, that, over time, will be gradually invested in by the club should opportunities for field/facility upgrades be made available to our school in the future.

Once, again, we would like to thank former Principal Kemmery for this investment, as well as current Principal Anderson for helping support and facilitate the donation to the ONE TECH Athletic Booster Club.

The Eastern Tech Field Hockey program is hosting a vertical Snap! Mobile fund-raiser to take their program to the next level!

*Purchase of new equipment (ie portable/custom goals, turf items)

*Team bonding activities (ie Pink out game items)

*Senior Celebrations (ie Senior signs)

Next Monday, October 7th is the Annual PINK-OUT GAME for the Eastern Tech Volleyball program benefitting the Side-Out Foundation, an organization that uses the power of volleyball to impact those affected by breast cancer.

Here's how you can support the program and the cause!

1. Attend the game and cheer on the Mavericks!

2. Donate directly to the Side-Out Foundation at https://giving.side-out.org/campaigns/20847

3. Purchase items through the Amazon Wishlist to help make this event special for those involved. The bows and pink eye black will be gifted to the girls to wear during the match and warm-ups, whereas the socks, wristbands, hair ribbons and concessions will be sold prior and during the match. 100% of funds raised will go to the side-out

6. They are ordering pink t-shirts for the girls to wear during warmups. They are $10 each (Coach Thorne already has their sizes). $4 from each t-shirt sale will go towards the side-out foundation. Get ready for a SEA OF ORANGE at Eastern Tech Home games!! The ONE TECH Athletic Booster Club presents the TECH TOWEL that EVERY TECH FAN should have!!! Our very own rally towels will strike fear in the heart of our opponents and envy in the heart of our their fans. It is ours and ours alone... LET'S GOOOOO!!!!!!!

TECH TOWELS will be on sale starting this Friday at the Homecoming Football game. Come see us at the MAVERICK MUNCHIES Concessions Table to get yours!!

~~2024 Francis Scott Key Volleyball Tournament CHAMPIONS~~

Shawna May was awarded ALL-TOURNAMENT OFFENSIVE MVP.

She is a middle for travel but has learned to be an outside for High School and is killing it. Three girls from the tournament received awards while two of the three went to ETHS players. The team as a whole looked amazing and didn't lose a set!!
